Completely Free Education
EKLAVYA MODEL RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL SALIA ANANTNAG provides completely FREE education to all enrolled students as per the scheme of Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.
EMRS Salia is a 100% free residential school under the NESTs (National Education Society for Tribal Students) scheme of Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.

About the Scheme:
EMRS (Eklavya Model Residential Schools) are established under:
- Governing Body: NESTs (National Education Society for Tribal Students)
- Ministry: Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India
- Objective: To provide quality education to ST (Scheduled Tribe) students
- Focus: Holistic development with residential facilities
- Eligibility: Primarily for ST students from tribal areas
Note: There are absolutely no fees of any kind for eligible students. The school provides completely free education, accommodation, food, uniforms, and all necessary facilities as per the EMRS scheme guidelines.
Important:
The school does not charge any fees from students. All expenses are borne by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India through NESTs. Parents/guardians are not required to pay any amount for education, boarding, lodging, or other facilities.
